Katrina
Medium_image I have got a a sturt desert pea to grow in Brisbane. It is starting to flower. What fertiliser should i use?

The leaves are looking blotchy, its in a pot 1/2 brickies sand and 1/2 potting mix, about 40cm wide and 30cm deep. Getting light watering every couple of days in full sun but under an eave against front brick wall of the house. Its a miracle that one is growing - planted two packets of seeds. so dont want to kill it now. Thanks.

Answer: Hi Katrina,

Well done on getting them that far. You can feed them with Garden Gold for Natives, which is a slow release fertiliser. you may want to reduce the rate as they are in pots.

Kind regards
Ben
