In Port Douglas tropical north Qld, I have two magnolia plants, in pots and a sunny location, for about 4 years, very healthy up to now, but leaves on both now developed large brown dry spots, dropping off, plants look ill. Remedies?

Answer: Hi Jean-Francis,

From looking at the photo, it looks as though the leaf has been sunburned. Could this be possible? From the photo it appears that only one leaf from that rosette of leaves has been affected. Could you let me know just how many leaves have been affected. It is possible that it could be a fungal spot, but I have not seen such a large spot, usually there would be number of spots. Please give me a little more information so I can investigate further.
