Answer: Hi Daniel,
Tomatoes are susceptible to a disease called target spot. Dark-brown spots develop on the leaves and the fruit can have a spot near the fruit stalk. It will be dark brown to black and depressed in the fruit. The disease is worse in warm moist weather. The spores can be spread by wind, rain and insects. Remove any diseased leaves and keep the plant healthy with fertiliser and water. Dynamic lifter for tomatoes is excellent. Use either tomato dust or Fungus Fighter copper fungicide on a weekly to fortnightly basis to control the disease.
