Hi I just can't get rid of the gall wasps on my lenom tree I keep on pruning it back had no lemons for 3+ year

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Gall wasps can be very tricky to control. Unfortunately there are not too many options out there for control and the best one is to conduct pruning prior to eggs hatching and then nesting again.

There are some baited systems on the market that you may wish to try, however, their effects can be limited and still may not provide you with the effective control. Check your local nursery for more information.

In the meantime, and in between prunes, the tree will benefit from a good feed. We recommend using Yates Thrive Citrus Liquid Plant Food. Feed weekly to help the tree cope with the additional stress that it is under and to give it some strength to keep growing as best it can be.
