Medium_img_9805 Magnolia dropping leaves

hi guys,
I have 2 little gem Magnolias plants in Canberra and most of the leaves have turn brown/crunchy and dropping. I am not sure if this is to do with the extreme heat we are receiving at the moment or the plants may have a disease.

Answer: Hi Shane,

Thank you for contacting Yates, I believe the browning and leaf dropping is more likely watering related considering the extreme weather we have had recently. I would suggest keeping the watering up and providing some shade in the afternoon to avoid excessive sun exposure, you may also try Yates Water Wise DroughtShield which will protect the tree from sun burn . You can see a picture of the product using the below link.

Hope this helps and happy gardening.

Best Regards,
Louise
