Hi I think I have gall wasp on my Lisbon lemon tree. How might I get rid of it?

Answer: Hi Bridget,

Thank you for contacting us.

It is hard to tell if your lemon tree is infested with fall wasps without looking at photos. But if you believe that’s the case and do see some bulged stems which is where they dwell and lay their eggs. If this is the case then we suggest you cut those stems or affected parts and put them off into your rubbish bin (not the composting or green bin).

We would recommend Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food and the Thrive Natural Citrus & Fruit Liquid Plant Food to help recover and improve the health of your lemon tree.

We hope this information is helpful. If you do have further queries please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards,

Yates Horticulturalist
