Medium_img_9164_156832_ Magnolia thinning, loosing leaves from middle and lower branches

Our five baby bear Magnolias have been thriving since we planted them 4 years ago, until a few months ago one of them started thinning in the middle, now the other trees are doing the same. They used to be lush and the fence behind them wasn't visible. We feed them regularly. Any help would be appreciated. We really don't want to loose these trees.

Answer: Hi There,
It’s not uncommon for trees like this the thin a little as they grow. You just need to give it a light prune around the thining area to encourage more lateral bushy growth. The trees look quite healthy so you don’t need to be concerned about loosing them, you just need to give them a little trim and feed regularly with Dynamic Lifter to keep them bushy.
