How do I care for lilliums

I bought 3 lilliums plants in a pot last year which i have now transferred into the garden, which compost & blood n bone have been added. Do I trim them or just leave to see if they flower this year.

Answer: Hi there Elizabeth,
because they are a bulb its best to wait to all the foliage dies down which it should do when it gets cooler.This is important because all the energy is in the leaves and it gets stored down into the bulb for the next season.
