Can flower bulbs generally bloom in multiple years or are they just annuals and need to be planted each year?

Answer: No bulbs store their energy after every season and use it the season after. Sometimes you may need to lift the bulb depending on what climate you live in or what type of bulbs you are growing. So they can bloom for more than one year depending on the species.
