Neale
My wife was given some beautiful potted Oriental lillies in flower.

when the flowers die off do I leave them in the pots until next year or can I put them in the garden and let them die back there?

Answer: Hi Neale,
You can either let them die off in your garden or keep them until next year, they are normally very hardy as long as you let the foliage die right back you should get them back next season.
