How to kill rye grass in Kikuyu grass

Unfortunately there is not a selective herbicide that will kill off the rye grass in a kikuyu lawn. The only treatment that we can suggest is the use of Zero Weedspray applied very carefully to the blade of the rye grass. You will need to be very careful that the product doesn't come in contact with the kikuyu/buffalo blades of grass as it will harm them in the same manner. It is a tedious task but it is effective.
