How can I kill off Kikuyu in a Kentucky Bluegrass lawn
How can I kill off Kikuyu in a Kentucky Bluegrass / Rye / Red Fescue lawn? It's fairly widespread, so treating the Individual Kikuyu runners or blades would not be practical.
I am afraid I cannot offer you a selective herbicide that will kill off the kikuyu in your Kentucky Bluegrass lawn. The only way of eliminating the kikuyu is by painting the runners of the grass with Zero Weedspray, active ingredient glyphosate. I know it will be a tedious task but perhaps you could apply the product with a Zero Weeding Brush which will make the task more manageable.
