Hi, We have brown patches of dying Kikuyu grass in our new lawn - grown from seed.
Have tried fungicide three weeks ago but areas seemed to still die off. Have tried watering (and plenty of rain) and that has made other grass grow but nothing in brown areas. Raked off area before applying fungicide and now worried it will spread to other areas.

Just checking if the Kikuyu grass is a mixed lawn seed with Rye? Ryegrass is an upright grass will die off in summer being a cool-season grass and regrow again in autumn once temperature cools down. The remaining grass should be Kikuyu which contains runners and should thicken up as runners developing and establish in 3-5 months.
