Why are the leaves on my ginger plant curling in

i bought a few ginger plants with flowers from the ginger factory in Yandina and one of the plants leaves have curled in. The plant is in a pot. Do they like full sun.

Herbs • Physical Damage

Hi Soile,

Ornamental gingers like growing in a warm, partly shaded spot in your garden, protected from harsh winds. If you have them in pots, they will be easy to move to a more protected spot out of the full sun. Leaves curling inwards could indicate the plant is try to conserve moisture within the leaves. Just look over the foliage to make sure there is no sap sucking insects present. Enjoy growing these beautiful, exotic plants in your garden
