What are your tips for growing, pruning and caring for Dietes Grandiflora Wild Iris

Hi, should Dietes Grandiflora (wild iris) be trimmed, and if so, what is the best method? If the plant has already been trimmed by cutting the foliage to approximately 30 cm above ground level what should be done to ensure they grow back nicely? Thank you

Hi Stacey,

You can prune quite a bit of your Iris, they do normally grow back quite quickly. At the moment if they are 30cm you should probably wait until you prune them again.
