Why doesn't the new shoots on my feijoas plant produce fruit?

hi i have had a feijoas plant for about 8 years gets new shoots every year but never fruit what can i do to make it fruit

Hi Wilma,

What a shame your tree is not producing any fruit. Usually feijoas require little attention. You might like to fertilise with Dynamic Lifter Plus Organic Fruit Food to encourage flowering and fruiting. If it hasn't flowered in 8 years, that's a long time. You might like to plant another feijoa tree to help with the pollination process.
