When is the best time to pick Pomegranate fruit
My Pomegranate's are now turning red, is this when to pick them and do you eat all the fruit and seeds? Kind regards, Sandra.
Hi Sandra,
Pomegranates ripen in late autumn. Pick the ones that have ripened first and those that have a lovely red glow to them. The other fruit can be harvested as they turn red and ripen. Exercise caution when picking the fruit as they bruise easily. Try to pick all the fruit before it starts to split. Hope the bush produces a good crop for you and you enjoy eating the flavoursome fruit.
