What fruit/citrus trees would be suitable to grow in Newcastle?

I am clearing a north facing area that will get full day sun. I would like to use this area for fruit/citrus trees.

Fruit and Citrus • Plants

Fruit trees suitable for growing in the Newcastle area include all citrus, some subtropical varieties (mango, avocado, paw paw - check with local nursery) and stone fruit. Because of your location, the biggest problem the trees will encounter is high wind also humidity. Choose spots that are both sunny and sheltered.
