Why are my lemons dry and brown inside?
This is a Mayer lemon and has produced beautiful fruit over the past few years, any help will be appreciated. Maggie.
Fruit and Citrus • Pests
This looks like the damage of the spined citrus bug. This bug doesn't attack the foliage but the fruit. The sap is sucked from the inside of the fruit causing dry patches inside as well as gumming and browning. At present, there isn't a product in our range that is registered for control of this pest.
