We have a 3-4 year old Kumquat tree that is looking sick, no fruit as yet

I have sprayed with eco oil and fed with citrus food but still looks sick and eaten

Hi Mike,

Thank you for contacting Yates.

Looks like the tree was attacked by chewing insects such as caterpillars, beetles or grasshoppers.

To control Caterpillars, try ‘Yates Nature's Way Caterpillar Killer - Dipel’. This product controls a wide range of leaf eating caterpillars and is safe to beneficial insects, birds and animals. Approved for use in organic gardening.

However, we do not have any registered product for beetles or grasshoppers, best to cover the tree with find bird netting during infestation.

Meanwhile, you might tree to feed the tree with 'Yates Thrive Natural Citrus & Fruit Organic Based Pelletised Plant Food' as a complete, soil-conditioning fertiliser for richer, juicier and more abundant fruit and healthy plant growth. Hope this helps and happy gardening :)
