Are these tiny bugs harmful to eat that appear on my raspberries?
Hi, I have been growing raspberries for a couple years, and this year the fruit is prolific which is great. But my fruit seems to have attracted tiny bugs..they don't appear to do any harm but they are both inside and outside the fruit, blowing them off appears to be the only way to remove them so I can enjoy eating my raspberries.
Hi David,
If these bugs are not doing any damage, I would say your method of blowing them off is a preferably way of dealing with them. I wouldn't be too concerned. These insects are obviously forming a mating swarm at present but you will find they will soon disappear and leave your raspberries alone. How lucky are you to have raspberries growing - enjoy.
