What can I do to treat leaf curl on grafted weeping cherry tree
The leaves have orange/brown spots on the back and some have small holes. I can't see any sign of pests. Could this be Shothole fungus and can I get rid of it? I live in Sydney. Thank you.
Your cherry tree looks like it has shothole fungus. The first signs of this fungus are small brown spots with reddish edges on the leaves. The centre of the hole later falls out, producing holes. Large holes of irregular shape may be produced if groups of spots occur close together. Apply Yates Leaf Curl Copper Fungicide at budswell and again at leaf fall.
