What can I do with seed pods that have appeared on my cycads?

I have two cycads that appear to have seed pods approx just under half a metre high. What can I do with them

Hi Ken,

Cycad plants are either male or female. If you are lucky enough to have a male plant and a female plant you will be able to pollinate the female plant. Otherwise leave the cones in place and enjoy the magnificent flower. I have attached a link to a website you may find interesting. http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/PlantNet/cycad/cycintro.html
