Success Ultra with Australian native communal bees

You say Success Ultra is deadly to bees. What about Australian native communal bees (Tetragonula and Austroplebeia sp.). They are not related to Apis mellifera. I have a hive right near my garden and am concerned if any of the bacteria enters the hive and subsequently multiplies.

Hi Tony,

Thank you for contacting Yates.
We recommend spraying the product when bees are not actively foraging. If the product contacts bees including native bees, it can kill them. However, once it's dry, it won't harm the bees.
If bees are foraging, wait until later in the day before spraying.

Hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have any other query.
