Should I spray to kill aphid eggs on the ground after removal of old hellebore growth?

Flowers and Ornamentals • Pests

Unfortunately, we do not have a treatment to control aphid eggs which are not on live plants.
We recommend removing any clippings from plants and putting them in the bin to reduce the spread of any pests or infections from old foliage.
To treat aphids on hellebores, ‘Yates Nature’s Way Vegie & Herb Spray’. It's certified for use in organic gardens and there's no withholding period, so you can spray and eat the same day! It's available in a ready-to-use or concentrate bottle. Click here for more info on this product: https://www.yates.com.au/product/garden-pest-control/yates-natures-way-vegie-herb-spray-concentrate
We recommend applying a test patch as hellebores can be sensitive to sprays.  Test an inconspicuous area and leave overnight before applying the product to the whole plant.
