How do I control little blue moths from eating the new growth on my cycad?

New growth/flush on my cycad is being destroyed by little blue moths - what can I use to stop this?

Flowers and Ornamentals • Pests

Hi Sam,

It is the larvae of the cycad blue butterfly that is causing the problem. We would suggest that you apply a Yates product called Success Naturalyte Insect Control. Ensure that all of the foliage is sprayed both on top and underneath the fronds. Spray in either early morning or late in the afternoon. Depending upon the infestation, you may need to spray every 7-10 days.
