Why are the leaves on my weeping cherry curling up and turning yellow?

Our weeping cherry tree leaves are curling up and turning yellow, is this an autumn thing or is it sick?

Hi Beth

Thank you for your question. This type of curling is normally caused by a lack of water. It's pretty common after the long hot dry period we have had. Keep up the water to the plant and apply some Drought Shield to help keep the tree from losing all of its water through transpiration and check the soil to make sure it has not become water replant. If it has then apply some Yates Waterwise Soil Wetter to help the water penetrate the soil. Steve
