Why are the leaves on my Gardenia turning yellow?

I have fertilized with suitable dynamic lifter, but it has not solved the problem.

Hi Geoff,

It is not unusual for gardenias to have yellow leaves at this time of the year coming out of winter. The Dynamic Lifter you have already applied will certainly help to encourage new healthy leaves. It may take a few weeks, but I am sure you will see results. You might like to do a pH test on the soil. Gardenias prefer an acidic soil, so ideally they would prefer a pH of around 5. If you find your pH is over 7, you might like to apply a product such as Yates Acitone which will correct and maintain the acidity of the soil.
