Hi Jo,

The native frangipani is native to the subtropical rainforests of east coast Australia & New Guinea. It does adapt to most soil types but prefers a moist rich soil in a sheltered, full sun position protected from cold winds. You may need to prepare the soil in which you intend planting your tree by incorporate some organic matter into your existing soil. Wetting agents will help to keep the soil moist and well drained. You will no doubt need to check its suitablity and availability of this stunning tree at your local nursery. I hope you are grow this beautiful tree and enjoy its beautiful perfumed flowers.
