How to propagate a magnolia tree from a cutting.

We are wanting to make a number of cuttings from a magnolia tree that is at my grandma’s. She recently passed away and members of the family want cuttings from the tree. What is the best product to use for this and also when is the best time to do it?

We recommend taking semi-hard wood cutting in summer and dip in 'Yates Clonex Rooting Hormone Gel Purple'. A gel hormone that promotes root growth in softwood and semi-hardwood cuttings for propagation.
