Aphids

NaomiB is talking about growing Peas, Broadbeans from Central Coast

I have aphids in my broad beans.  Lots of them.  I squashed a few this morning, but there are still tons left.  I read somewhere that once I finish squashing them all I should spray the plants with slightly soapy water. So, tomorrow when I feel less tired I’m going to finish squashing all the aphids and try to get the soapy water ratio right for putting off aphids but not killing the plants.

By the way both the snow peas and the broad beans grew heaps while I was away.  I’ll post pictures tomorrow.
