Squash 'Green Button Hybrid'
An excellent baby squash that can be grown in the garden or in a pot. Tastes great when boiled, baked or stuffed.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
Directly into garden, placing 3-4 seeds in ‘mounds’ 70cm apart. Thin later to the two strongest plants per ‘mound’. For growing in pots, use one of 40cm diameter.
Care
Choose a sunny well drained position. Work in Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser. Water well. Brush pollen from male flowers onto female flowers with swollen base for better pollination. Pick fruit at 5-10cm for best yield. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
