Onion 'Hunter River Brown'
An early globe variety with good flavour and mild taste. The best brown onion for warmer districts.
Position
Full sun
Sow
Directly into growing position. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Thin out when 10cm high.
Care
Plant in a well-drained sunny position. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser at planting for best results. Keep free from weeds. Harvest crop when tops have wilted. Young onions, removed when thinning can be used as Spring Onions. Water regularly. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
