Lettuce 'Greenway'
Has been specially bred by Yates for our warm summer conditions. A large crispbread style variety, it is ideal for summer salads. Plants are resistant to downy mildew.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
Directly into growing position or raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Transplant when 3-4cm high.
Care
Plant in a well-drained, sunny position adding Yates Garden Lime and Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser to the soil at time of planting. Water regularly and apply Yates Soluble Fertiliser weekly. Successive plantings give best results. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem. Water at soil level, rather than overhead, to minimise risk of disease.
