Burke's Backyard Thai Chilli
Don Burke has specially selected this superb variety of chilli. The plant bears abundant fruit that change colour from green, cream, purple to red depending on its maturity and weather conditions. As well as being a great feature plant, it is excellent to use in Thai dishes or any cooking requiring a hot chilli.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
Best raised in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when 6cm high. In cooler climates early sowings should be kept under glass or indoors.
Care
Choose a warm, sheltered, sunny position. Keep well watered. Flowers and young fruit will appear in most situations within 9 weeks. For the most flavour, wait until the fruit is red. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
