Herbs are very versatile. While chiefly grown to season foods, herbs can also be used for oils, fragrances, cosmetics, potpourris as well as being recognised for their healing properties. All of this and decorative too! Plant a few fresh herbs close to the kitchen and enjoy the natural and healthy way to add spice and flavour to a meal. They look great in a pot and make good companion plants.
