Virginian Stock 'Mixed Colours'
A delightful, easily grown annual that produces masses of blooms in lilac, pink, mauve and white. Ideal for early spring colour practically everywhere.
Position
Sun or part shade.
Sow
Best sown direct. Scatter seed thinly where plants are to grow. Cover with Yates Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and moisten.
Care
Choose any site in sun or semi-shade, from window boxes to pavement cracks to well prepared gardens – Virginian Stock will quickly come to flower in any of these. It is best not to thin out plants once sown as the roots are rather delicate and easily dislodged. Feed with Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser fortnightly for stronger plants. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
