An early flowering variety with masses of striking scarlet flower spikes. This highly popular bedding plant, although suitable for all gardens, is at its best in hot conditions.

Full sun.
Sow
In trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix, covering lightly. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle.
Care
Plant in an open, sunny well-drained position. Needs little attention. Use for hedge-like borders, rockeries and balcony boxes. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser fortnightly for stronger plants. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
