Lavender 'Munstead Strain'
This compact form of lavender is ideal for low hedging, borders or in small gardens. It is very early flowering and highly aromatic.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
Raise in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Transplant into individual pots when 2-3cm high. The seedlings can then be planted into the garden in early summer.
Care
A well-drained sunny site is essential, especially if the plants are to survive winter. Water occasionally during summer and apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser to promote growth. Cut back in autumn to retain shape. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
