Plant nasturtiums to deter garden pests or make a repellant spray by steeping leaves and flowers in hot water.

Full sun.
Sow
Direct into growing position. Completely cover seeds with Yates Seed Raising Mix as they require darkness for germination.
Care
Plant in a sunny position that is protected from strong winds. Remove spent blooms to promote better flowering. Leave some flowers to form seeds, which can be used as a substitute for capers. Grow with: Cabbages, squash and fruit trees. Plant with capsicum to deter aphids.
