Garden Doctor 'French Marigold'
The workhorse of pest deterrents, plant freely throughout the garden. Cheerful yellow flowers add colour almost all year round.
Position
Full sun.
Sow
an be sown directly into garden position or raised in trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Transplant when seedlings are about 5cm high.
Care
Best grown in a warm, well-drained sunny position. Apply water at the base of the plant. Incorporate compost, Dynamic Lifter Organic Plant Food or blood and bone into soil before planting. Marigold is valued for its ability to deter nematodes and insect pests. Grow with: Onions, carrots, beans and brassicas.
