Cornflower 'Double Mixed'
An old fashioned favourite with a lovely profusion of pinks, blues and white. Ideal for background plants and delightful for posies.
Position
Sun or part shade.
Sow
Sow direct or in seed trays of Yates Seed Raising Mix. Cover lightly, firm down and keep moist. Transplant carefully when plants are about 5-7cm high.
Care
Choose a well-drained position that enjoys the morning sun. Add Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser for best results. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser every two weeks for stronger plants. Pinch back flowers and stems to keep plants compact. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem.
