How to prepare

Shake well before use. Add the required amount of Confidor to water in a sprayer or watering can and mix thoroughly. The prepared spray must be used on the day it is mixed.

How to use

DO NOT apply when conditions are hot. DO NOT apply when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.

Stone fruit	Green peach aphid, black peach aphid	10 mL per 3 litres of water	Spray foliage thoroughly when insects are first seen or if insects re-appear. Spray underneath the leaves to kill pests which may be hiding out of sight. For hibiscus flower beetle, spray buds and flowers as needed. For longtailed mealybug, apply 3 sprays 2 weeks apart. For psyllids, spray at first sign and then a week later. For soft scales, spray in late spring or when small scales are first seen. Apply 3 sprays, 2 weeks apart. For best results spray in the morning when there is little or no wind and little direct heat from the sun. As a guide, 2 litres of spray mixture should be sufficient to thoroughly spray a fruit tree up to 3m high, or to spray 10 large tomato plants.

Lawns	Curl grubs* and billbug larvae *also known as African black beetle larvae, Argentinian scarab larvae or pruinose scarab larvae. Curl grubs and billbugs cause extensive damage to lawns by feeding on grass roots and stems. Affected grass turns yellow then brown and dies, and can be lifted up like a carpet.	50 mL per 15m2	Measure lawn area before application. Apply Confidor using a watering can or a hand sprayer and water in thoroughly. Do not mow treated lawn for three days. For curl grubs, the optimum application time is peak egg hatch which occurs between mid spring to mid summer. For billbug larvae, the optimum application time is at the peak of adult bug activity or when small (4mm) larvae are found in the thatch or surface soil. This occurs between late spring and early summer.

Precautions

NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED. DO NOT PICK STONE FRUIT FOR 21 DAYS AFTER SPRAYING. DO NOT PICK BRASSICAS,
CAPSICUM, EGGPLANTS, POTATOES OR SWEET POTATOES FOR 7 DAYS AFTER SPRAYING. DO NOT PICK TOMATOES FOR 3 DAYS AFTER SPRAYING. DO NOT PICK CUCURBITS FOR 1 DAY AFTER SPRAYING.

Storage and disposal

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag and putting in garbage.

Caution

DO NOT allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds. DO NOT spray if bees are feeding on flowering plants. Will kill bees. Children and pets may re-enter the treated area after the spray has dried.
