For raising the pH of acid soils and preventing calcium deficiency.

Ingredients

Calcium carbonate

Directions for use

One adult handful holds approximately 100 grams.

Apply in preferably warm, moist conditions. Generally applications in autumn or late winter are suitable, 2-3 weeks prior to applying other fertilisers.
Heavy clay soils – 500 grams per square metre.
Lighter soils – 200 grams per square metre.

Precautions

Do not apply in close proximity to ‘acid loving’ plants such as azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons.
