How It Works
Absorbed by the leaves and travels down to the roots. Boosts the plants self defence mechanisms, giving it the ability to prevent disease taking hold, as well as helping to cure disease that already exists. Anti Rot works best as a preventative spray.
Ingredients
Phosphorous acid.
How to use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. DO NOT spray when shade temperatures exceed 35°C. DO NOT spray when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress. Applying as a protective spray will give more effective control. Ensure thorough leaf coverage.
| CROP | DISEASE | RATE | HOW TO APPLY |
| Young or small citrus and recently transplanted trees | Phytophthora Root Rot, Collar Rot | 5-10 ml/L | Use higher rate under higher disease risk conditions (eg. for trees in heavy clay soil). Apply each year as a preventative foliar spray, in late winter prior to flowering and again in autumn when fruit are approaching maturity. Spray until leaves are just wet. Use 5-10mL/L rate for container grown Mandarin trees. Removal of fruit from affected trees will assist recovery. |
| Mature citrus (except container grown Mandarin trees) | 100- 160ml in 12L water per tree | ||
| Ornamentals | Phytophthora Root Rot, Collar Rot, Crown Rot | 5ml/L | Apply at 4-6 weekly intervals as a foliar spray when conditions favour disease. Certain plants may be sensitive to phosphorous acid sprays. Test on a small sample first if in doubt. Do not apply when plants are dormant or stressed. |
| Avocado | Phytophthora Root Rot | 2.5- 3ml/L | Apply as a foliar spray to run-off. Use 7.5-10L per adult tree. Apply every 3 weeks as a curative spray, or every 5-6 weeks as a preventative spray. |
| Grapes | Downy Mildew | 6ml/L | Apply as a foliar spray to the point of run-off. Apply at first sign of disease. |
