Answer: Dear Denise,

It sounds like you will have to take your puppies for lots of long walks and tire them out so they don’t tear up your lawn.

If they have done considerable damage to your lawn, you will have to restrict their entry to the area until you are able to repair it. It is amazing how quickly it will repair itself when there is no traffic on it. Now that spring is just around the corner, you can soon apply a good quality lawn fertiliser to the area to add nutrients to the soil and allow the roots of the grass to start growing again. We would suggest a Yates product called Lush Lawn Master. This product will feed your lawn continuously for up to 3 months.
