Trying to choose which citrus food is best for my lemon and two orange trees.

Like to know what the difference is between Thrive Granular Citrus Food and Dynamic Lifter Advanced for Fruit & Citrus and which one is better or are they the same.

Answer: Dear Marvic,

Thrive Granular Citrus Food is a well balanced citrus food which contains essential nutrients and trace elements required to give green healthy foliage and juicy fruit. It is fast acting and suitable for all fruit trees planted in a garden situation. The best time to apply this fertiliser is in Spring and Autumn. When fertilising with this product, avoid applying closer than 30cm from the trunk. This granular fertiliser is not suitable for citrus tree in planted in pots.

Dynamic Lifter Advanced for Fruit & Citrus is an organic-based plant food. It is a slow release fertiliser and contains composted chicken manure as well as added mineral nutrients to promote growth and fruiting. This product is applied in early spring before growth flush and then again in late summer. Unlike the granular citrus fertiliser, Dynamic Lifter for Fruit & Citrus can be applied to citrus trees in pots.

Both of these products will give your citrus trees the necessary nutrients they need to grow well and produce good quality fruit.
