Yates Product of the Month for May 2008 is the newly released range of Yates Acticote + Instant Booster plant foods.

Yates new Acticote range takes the confusion out of garden feeding by giving home gardeners a choice of three, easy-to-apply fertiliser products that combine controlled release nutrients with a fast-acting boost.

Each 500g pack combines a superior quality, controlled release fertiliser that continues working for up to 12 months with a fast-releasing component that promotes a quick growth response. Bright pack colours and recognisable icons draw attention to these products and help users to achieve success with their application.

Yates Acticote is ideal for feeding plants at this time of year. While the fast release component supplies a pre-winter boost, the controlled release pellets only make their nutrients available when temperatures are suitable for growth. This means fertiliser supply slows down in cold weather (when plant growth is also at its slowest) and kicks back into action with the arrival of spring.
