Slow Release

Triabon Slow Release Fertiliser with Crotodur®

Triabon is a biologically controlled slow release compound fertiliser. It is a complete plant fertiliser containing an excellent balance of all essential plant nutrients with the analysis N16 – P3.5 – K10 plus Trace Elements. Triabon contains Crotodur®, a slow release nitrogen source which is broken down by soil microbes into plant available Nitrogen. Triabon supplies a sustained release of nutrients over a 4 month period.

Features

  • Triabon is a biologically controlled slow release compound fertiliser
  • Triabon is a complete plant fertiliser containing an excellent balance of all plant nutrients essential for growth
  • Triabon contains Crotodur®, a slow release nitrogen source which is broken down by soil microbes into plant available nitrogen. As both soil temperature and soil moisture govern the activity of plant growth and soil microbes, the nitrogen release from Crotodur® matches the plants requirements
  • Triabon contains both fast acting and slower acting forms of nitrogen ensuring adequate availability early in the plants life, while continuing to release over a 4 month period
  • Triabon is effective at all pH levels, making it an ideal product for acid loving plants as well as all other general plant lines
  • The Triabon granules break down when wet and wash into the growing media. The advantage of this with topdress application is that in the event of pots falling over, the product is not lost from the surface of the pot
  • It is an ideal product for both top dressing and incorporating into potting media prior to planting

How It Works

Crotodur® is a slow release nitrogen source which is broken down by soil microbes into plant available nitrogen. As both soil temperature and soil moisture govern the activity of plant growth and soil microbes, the nitrogen release from Crotodur matches the plants requirements.
Triabon contains both fast acting and slower acting forms of nitrogen ensuring adequate availability early in the plants life, while continuing to release over a 4 month period.

Directions for use

Triabon application rates are provided in detail on the label for Potted Plants, General Container Plants, Potted Vegetable Seedlings and Cut Flowers. Rates also vary according to plant age (young vs mature), nutrient requirement (low to high) and salt sensitivity (highly to moderately sensitive). See product label for crop specific recommendations. Triabon is suitable for both topdressing and incorporation into the soil or potting media prior to planting.

Precautions

Follow label recommendations. Reduced application rates are recommended for salt sensitive plant species. Do not use on phosphorus sensitive Australian native plants.
