We are proud to offer charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations the opportunity to be one of our annual Charity Partners of the Year to help make a difference to a broad range of charities and not-for-profit groups across the community. Yates provides an annual contribution of $500 worth of Yates products to support up to three selected charities per year.

How Yates supports communities and charities around Australia

NW-Charity-support

Yates is a proud partner of Landcare Australia, a national network of thousands of locally-based community groups who care for the natural resources of our country – with more than 4000 community Landcare groups, 2000 Coastcare groups and many thousands of volunteers across the country.

To help protect and repair our environment, Yates donate a percentage of sales from our ‘Nature’s Way’ range of products to Landcare Australia. Yates is a proud sponsor of the Junior Landcare Challenge to encourage children to learn about gardening and the environment, and incorporate gardening into their lives from a young age. Yates employees also participate in a range of charitable activities in our local community, participating in a number of community fundraising activities and volunteering projects. We also provide valuable support to the following organisations:

Retina Australia is a voluntary organisation, which is concerned with retinal degenerative diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration. Retina Australia provide funds for scientific research, information and peer support to those affected by retinal degenerative diseases.

Yates has supported Retina Australia since 1999, donating more than $104,000.00 through the sales of Yates Cosmos ‘Bright Eyes’. This money has been spent on research to find a cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). Statistically, there are more than 8000 young Australians with RP making it the leading cause of youth blindness.
